To ensure a smooth and hassle-free van hire experience with JS Van Hire Chorley, please review the requirements and hire conditions below:

Driver Requirements

• Please bring your valid driving licence when collecting the vehicle.
• You must have your own credit or debit card for payment and deposit purposes.
• You must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years.
• Drivers must be aged between 25 and 70 years.
• A second proof of address dated within the last 3 months is required (e.g. utility bill or bank statement).

Driving Licence & Convictions

• Drivers must have no major motoring convictions.
• If you have more than 6 penalty points or any non-minor offences, please contact us before booking.
• Additional points may increase the insurance excess or, in some cases, prevent hire.

Fuel Policy

If the vehicle is returned without being refuelled, the following charges apply:

• £20 + VAT administration fee
• £2 + VAT per litre of fuel required

Fines & Charges

• Any fines, penalties or congestion charges will incur a £30 administration fee.

Insurance Excess

• Standard insurance excess is £750 (reducible to £250 with Collision Damage Waiver).
• For Luton vans, excess is £1,000 (reducible to £500 with CDW).

Mileage Allowance

• Daily mileage allowance is 150 miles per day.
• Additional mileage is charged at £0.15 per mile.
